Start with the experience

Choose two or three priorities: food, history, landscapes or city life. Let those choices shape the route before adding destinations. A trip built around your interests is easier to enjoy than a checklist of famous places.

Count travel days honestly

A train or flight takes more than its scheduled journey time. Include packing, reaching the station, check-in, onward transport and settling into the next hotel. Avoid a major timed attraction immediately after arrival.

Leave breathing room

Pick one anchor activity each day, then add an optional nearby walk or meal. Keep a flexible half-day for weather, tired feet or somewhere you want to revisit.

Check before booking

Entry eligibility, attraction reservations and transport availability need current checks. Use official authorities and operators for requirements; this guide is a planning framework, not entry advice.
